what do i need for futaba set up

You need a crystal specified for Futaba radio your're using (27 or 75 am or fm)
 
AM = Amplitude Modulation
FM = Frequency Modulation
AM = easier and cheaper to produce but prone to more interference sources
FM = more expensive to produce prone to less interference.

I think you mean 27's right? But yeah, just make sure it's for your frequency range (am or fm)

Don't forget the DSM radios. Very high frequency (2.5Ghz) and even lesser prone to glitching because of metal to metal contact and radio noise.
