That means I'm doing it right. ;)

1/64ish cars. Building is 115mm tall.
You're going to have to give us a video walkthrough of your tiny garage. You need a car museum in the scene somewhere 😉 Really great work here man.

I will put together a photo essay of it soon. I find myself tinkering with it all the time making little and not so little changes.

Printed a bunch of small accessories.

Need to get some paint on the walls but I like it.

On the printer is a 250mm x 350mm ramp for our lil Max Smasher. Should be done tomorrow. 28 hour print, so fingers crossed I have enough filament left on the printer ;)

Nope. Going to have to do a filament change.

The weather has turned here so I have been getting in some miles on the trike.. Needed to design some accessory mounts for my bike computer, my bluetooth speaker and my mace .. Printed them from PETG.. So today I get to go test them out..

Haha, I just remembered you said something about hoping you had enough filament and then saw the color change. It's not bad, good visibility.
The roll of Overture I had on there is the first roll of theirs with the recyclable cardboard spool that I have emptied, and the inner tube is a lot bigger than I expected. So there was a little less on there than I thought. What's funny is the 2nd roll was a partial, and the last coil pulled off the spool just before the part finished. Kinda sad because that V03D filament is da bomb. I need to order more of it. I just wish it was a brighter red, but it looks pretty good.

Wow its been 2 months since I posted here.. I have been running some jobs for some locals and for the place I retired from so havent really had much time for MY stuff lately.. I am just finishing the 1/24 pan to 1/28 pan scale down . Hope to have that posted in the next couple weeks, other than that I have printed some new bike parts .. a R fender and mount along with some behind the seat mounts for my camelback back pack. The have been printing for the shop is pretty boring, some fixtures for the parts washer to align things on the belt.. but have been printing 200 sets at 6.5 hrs a set.. This is one of the main jobs I keep my printers running. I have offered to machine some out of delrin or nylon , but they say that the PETG works great and they would rather have the fixture break than damage the part, so I will keep printing them out of PETG as long as they keep paying me to do so..

Well alright, part of my absence the last couple months was a redesign of my pan car chassis. The intention has always been to develop something in 1/24 scale and then once I was happy with the performance scaling it back to 1/28 scale so its legal to race.. With the recent leak of the new 1/28 scale rules and the fact that printed components are now deemed legal for competition use as long as they are available for sale/free download previous to any large events , it was time to take the chassis to 1/28 scale, so thats what I did. Almost everything translated to 1/28 well.. The chassis has a 98mm WB. Track width at the R axle is 77.5mm. Body width is 79.5mm , so it is within the 80mm max width. Uses an 8 ball differential (2.4mm or 3/32"balls). Has files for both 42 or 44t spur gears in standard .5 module so they are compatible with stock press on Mini-z pinions... The purple chassis pictured will be used to do a build tutorial. All files are completed so I will be getting a parts list together and posting files on my cults page for those that want to get a jump on things before the build tutorial is posted..

That turned out great!

First ever print with TPU just getting a baseline for the new printer.

Generic TPU settings and the high end of recommended printing speed. Going to see how it likes a day in the sun.

Also whipped up a little dolly for some of my photoshoots. Have a rail design in process so it will be portable for outdoor work too.

Worked well for a quick and fast first draft. If I had known the new printer was going to show up I would have waited and done the pucks that hold the phone in TPU.

Haven't touched my RC stuff since New Years so of course I jump all in lol.

One of the reasons I wanted a larger printer is to print my own bodies and large parts, as well as for the diecast diorama buildings I'm designing.

Working in 3 scales. Left is going to be a drift truck for my HPI mini RS4. Right is for a co-worker's SCX24 if I got the scale right. I printed a test version and more parts than I needed for a test fit but I printed it pretty dirty in PLApro since I'm not 100% sure it will fit.

The Gray PETG 1/10 is for my TRX4, the rest of the cab is on the printer right now. I'm working on modifying the bed for the TRX4 to either a Aussie style canopy and tray setup or more of a van/RV build. I'm doing a quick cut job in Tinker to make the bed print faster for my mockup work.
