Geez, and you wonder why someone threw a brick through your windshield? How can you claim it to be a piece of crap when you don't even know what it is?

Sorry, Ibiza, not quite sure what it is. Maybe one of our touring car gurus can ID it for you.

Hmm I wish I could help you there....it burns PETROL ....so be careful....stuff is flammable.:breakdown

This car is NOT a Kyosho, but a chinese rendition of a 1st gen HPI Nitro RS-4. This doesn't mean that you bought a junkbox. All the parts on this car were probably taken from other companies and made to fit. The genuine 1st gen HPI RS-4 can be seen Here.
That particular one is the Super Nitro RS-4 which is in fact a 1/8th scale. but the 1/10th scale original was the same design. From your pics it appears you can actually inter change parts from the Genuine HPI RS-4 into this one. My advise to you is once you get it. Change the mill. Dont just rebuild it, get a new one. You never know if you buying someones major headache. Besides, the less aggravation is worth a measley 150.00-200.00 bucks. good luck with it and visit WWW.HPIRACING.COM for info on hopups and parts you can pickup.
PS. these mills are only two strokers so saying that it burns PETROl was just a figure of speach. It was someone from england that was selling it. that is their term for gas. Dont worry. its only glow fuel that gets used in this rig.

thanks guys... I've decided since the first post... 'thanks' that its back on ebay... never mind. I've already got an associated NTC3 which seems to do me spot on for the touring side of things, and I've recently started getting into drifting with it aswell. I'm really after a more off road truck i think, now I've got the on road, not done a nitro off road before.

Thanks for all the input tho guys much appreciated :D

well, wasent trying to be mean or anything. When i saw it, it was a mess! it looked like it was bashed hard, a few parts were missing, and wires were a mess. When i saw that it said that it burned petrol, i thought it was another cooperdillian, trying to pull off a crap mess of parts. sorry for the rudness. I also fast-read the post, and didnt see that he already bought it. Thought he was bidding on it!

PS: someone didnt throw a rock threw my windshield, a lawnmower threw a rock at it...

You guys need to get your facts straight on this forum...

Thats a KYOSHO GP Spider Mk II. See kyosho on the front? That should have been a DEAD giveaway of what manufacture it was. The shocks, engine, exhaust, fuel tank, plastics... they scream KYOSHO. That car WAS great fyi... its not garbage/trash/junk.

17 years in the hobby for the win! I'd like someone to try to prove its not a spider mkII ;)

dude you were born in 1987.. Also about 6 months ago you were telling me that Savages sucked and break easy and that Tmaxxs kick ass and own the MT scene... I think your the one who needs to get your facts straight...

ah yes, 6 months ago? ha, bull. 6 months ago I signed my first sponsorship contract. Try over 3 or 4 years ago there bud. And I still say savages suck... a tank on wheels.

My first car was a Ultima as a gift from my grandpa. circa 1990.

-EDIT- In fact, it was 4 years ago. We spoke on some I'm program a while before I even registered here. How do i know it was 4 years ago? its when I picked up my CR125... and the free maxx.

My ASS you've been in this hobby since you were three and even if you got your first R/C car at the age of three, you had NO CLUE what you were doing then (much like now, by the way!)

Frankly, I could give a crap how many sponsorships you have, how good of a racer you are or anything else! Much of the blather and arrogant posting you've done have amounted to a popcorn fart! You have made a consistent habit of contradicting yourself throughout a number of threads and the attitude you project is starting to rile several PAYING members here (myself included!)

Learn some respect and drop the attitude!

Stupidity doesn't count as a handicap, except in internet arguments.

That aside; I, unlike you, have been in the hobby 17 years. I started with a Losi JRXT, all those years ago. I learned early on, that sponsorships are a dime-a-dozen. It's not what you get for free; it's what you do with what you have, and how you help people that are starting out/having problems that counts.

Well put, my amigo. Couldn't have said it better myself.

It's not your fault 'tall amigo. Someone just gave Monkeys' cheerios a spiking today. That's all.

:chillpill

Back to the Kyosho:
That onroad wasn't that bad of a vehicle... it was the basic version of the "world cup" car, but it still held its own on the track. The Vone definitely was its replacement tho.

What do you anticipate picking up? Or are you still browsing?

Ibiza, please accept my apologies for derailing your thread. I'm just tired of some folks coming on here claiming to be all knowing and trying to dazzle everyone with what they think they know and daring people to argue it with them. You're absolutely right, this forum's primary purpose is to help and share knowledge.

If people wish to try and dazzle and brag, please go to RCU where the gullibility factor is significantly higher than the combined R/C IQ. No one really cares about sponsorships or implied expertise here.
