thanx addict I'm new to elec and all the brushless and lipo tech talk but I'm about to work a saturday and buy a slash and i want to have max fun with min wrench. my t-maxx is causing me way too much heartache and cash.

Be sure to get batteries with the Traxxas plugs pre-installed. You will also need a peak charger for your batteries. If you don't already have a charger the Dynamite
Prophet Sport AC/DC Peak Charger is a good charger for $30.00. It will not do LiPo if you plan on running them in the future but they are good chargers non the less. I have two and haven't had a single problem with them.

I have both a Prophet and a SuperBrain 989. Both are good chargers. Neither has given me any problems.
