Hey Guys,I'm thinking of getting myself a slayer but the only place i have to run is on grass.I've been told the slayer will not be any fun on grass, tell me is that true.(I know dirt would be better)

For running on grass a Monster Truck is the way to go.

Yeah, Robmob is right. It sits pretty low as compared to a Monster truck, and if you're only going to be in grass, just go with a Revo or T-Maxx.

yea

thats what i was thinking,I might just have to skin back some of my grass!!

Personally I run my Slayer on grass most of the time and find it to be quite a blast. You tend to get better traction then on dirt, so expect to roll it a few time. Also i have some fun ripping through the sand at the local playground.

The slayer isn't as light as a jato, but it does sit low, so grass will drag on it if it's very tall at all. I run my jato in the grass and it does quite well, as long as it's short. Once the grass is a couple inches tall, then the jato can't get traction as it's so light that it floats.

If you have an area that you can keep the grass really short, it will be better to run on and not cause the engine to drag down and run warmer than necessary.
