You can widen the stance with hex extenders, and also get a little more weight down low, using brass replacement parts to help with stability. You want the center of gravity as low as you can get it.

I have a few myself.

Yup true I do have some weight down low but maybe not enough…..nice rigs by the way.

I have a decent amount of wheight and width but…..the gladiator performs better overall I think because of its long wheel base and furitek cedar motor setup. Lol

What rig performs the best from you?

Out of my SCX24's my Deadbolt and the Gladiator. The AX24 also performs well.

The Furitek Cayman, Redcat Ascent 18, and the Hobby Plus CR18p Evo Pro are all great non Axial rigs.

I only have one so far but I've started another build plus planning at least one more build. The one I have done already as a limited edition B-17 Betty that has had every part on it replaced with Treal (or some other after market parts) except the frame rails and the body and the only reason I kept the frame rails is the limited edition numbering.

Don't have the money for high end fancy electronics. All ours are fairly stock in that department. But I just enjoy building them up.

I see that wicked frog is using a castle sidewinder esc how’s that crawl? Pretty good?I might do that because I have one laying around….

That's @Greywolf74 that has the Sidewinder in his Betty.

The Deadbolt is what our Deadbox van started out as. Great kit to start out with. The longer rear links and more forward center of gravity seem to help it outperform the others.
