Here is a cut and paste of an scam e-mail I received 6 times today.

Funny thing is that I do not have a Wells Fargo account. Also, check the spelling of "Alert" in the first line.

These people are idiots. They can't even scam properly.

The only part missing in your copy and paste of this scam is that the hyperlink to wells fargo does not take you there. Thought I have not gotten this one yet the url to where you are going is probably numeric rather than alphabetic. For some reason people are more trusting of 66.235.01.445 in their browser address than they are of www.imscammingyou.com. Go figure?
 
and strangely enough the 800 number doesn't work...
hmm, you would think that wells fargo would pay their phone bill...
