ok i been trying to break this motor in and i havent even gotten a tank in yet ...it just wont start i tried a few times to start it started for 4 seconds and then it died started it againg samething maybe i dont have the right needel settings can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

try leaning it up just enough to get it running, try leaning it up a quarter turn, and if it still wont keep running after a few tries. pull the plug and turn the motor to get the extra fuel out, and turn the hsn another eighth of a turn. just keep doing until it will start. also check your plug, to see if its disformed.

Make sure you are at factory needle settings for both LSN and HSN. Also check to see that your idle is proper (~1mm). If you can't get it to idle without stalling out you'll probably have to lean the LSN untill she runs consistantly.

I had the exact same issue when I started breaking in my RB earlier this year. Once I got it going and the needle position figured out she idled like a dream.

ok what are the needle settings I'm not sure if i set them correctly

i tried to lean slightly and still .. maybe my settings are way off do you know the factory settings? for lsn and hsn its the 80500 wasp .28 ps pull start sg shaft slide carb rear exhaust turbo button please help thanks guys I'm so pissed it seems like I'm not having any luck and I'm real close to quiting this hobby if i can't get this problem fixed

the plug is fine also still brand new it hasnt even started for more than 4 seconds

the same thing happened with my hyper 21. i eventually had to turn the hsn a full turn to get it to run. check what factory setting is, and lean it from there to a point were it will run. it took me awhile to get it to run but trust me its all worth it.

Preheat the engine before you start it, works wonders. A hair dryer will do just fine.
