I JUST GOT A NEW WASP .18 ENGINE FOR MY T-MAXX. I pulled the pullstart, and I got it idleing for a second, then i tried a little bit of throttle and it went dead. So, I got to pull it again, and I yank the pull start cord so hard that it won't go back in (I stretched it to the end). I AM SO F***** ANGRY right now. It was like a quick tease, and then I'm done for the day. After 3 days of the engine just sitting on my car, me doing nothing but housework, my parents finally said ok, you can go ahead and do whatever now. Why does this happen to me?? What's the best thing I can do? and please when you're explaining this, talk in newbies terms, cause obviously I am one :censored: :whack:
thats why they say "short, quick, yanks". when i broke in my Wasp .18, the first yank it started up and never stopped. that was in florida with like 80 degree weather and running 3 1/8 turns out on the HSN and 1/8th of a turn extra on the LSN. i didnt even touch the throttle on my remote until half way through the 2nd tank.
ur pull start, if u give it a couple short quick tugs iwll it go back in? I'm hopping u didnt break ur spring on the inside. if the pull start string still doesn't go in, loosin up the 4 screws on the pull start, not all the way though and see if the string goes back in. if not looks like its time to rebuild the pull start already bud.
seems like i already discussed this tuff with u before...
