I'm heading into uncharted territory, for me anyway. I just bought a used Mugen MBX6 Eco 1/8 buggy roller from eBay. I haven't received it yet, but I’m excited. I’ll probably restore it, or at the very least do some maintenance and get it running, depending on its condition. According to the ad, it just needs electronics—but we’ll see.

I have no experience with Mugen Seiki and know little about them, but that’s about to change. This is also my first race-bred buggy and high-end RC. I know it’s an older model, but that doesn’t bother me. I have no plans to race it—at least not competitively.

Looking forward to learning about this model and the brand. Something different.

BTW, If you recognise this car or you are the previous owner, let me know. I would love to get some history on it. (was sold in Australia). Long shot I know but you never know.
I'm not sure what is meant by you saying "uncharted territory", but 1/8 scale buggies make the best bashers. When I whip out mine, after a long hiatus, I'm like "Now we're talking. Let's get it on!":banana:The last time I had my buggy out; it got me thinking that I really need another one for the last piece of the puzzle to my RC collection. Since then, I've been on the lookout for that special addition to make its way to PA.

Congratulations on your Mugen!
I can't wait for you to get it up and running!

Please, please...

I mean that I've never owned one, never seen one, know nothing about them (I am learning though) and I've never had a buggy designed for racing. I've never gone down this path before.

Good to know. I'm looking forward to it.

OFF-ROAD competition race buggy. 😘
Glued dirt is like pavement to me. 🤣
Besides, asphalt is the easiest way to grind all those pesky screw heads off the bottom of the chassis before any tools need to get involved. 😉 🤣
