I'm heading into uncharted territory, for me anyway. I just bought a used Mugen MBX6 Eco 1/8 buggy roller from eBay. I haven't received it yet, but I’m excited. I’ll probably restore it (Edit: I did), or at the very least do some maintenance and get it running, depending on its condition. According to the ad, it just needs electronics—but we’ll see.

I have no experience with Mugen Seiki and know little about them, but that’s about to change. This is also my first race-bred high-end RC. I know it’s an older discontinued model, but that doesn’t bother me. I'm used to the challenges involved with this.
I have no plans to race it—at least not competitively.

Looking forward to learning about this model and the brand. Something different.

BTW, If you recognise this car or you are the previous owner, let me know. I would love to get some history on it. (was sold in Australia). Long shot I know but you never know.

You already know my thoughts on it! Prepare to be astonished. Welcome to the darkside brother.. 😈

I've been so close to ordering parts for it but had to stop myself. Wait to see the rig first, I tell myself. I've already seen the driveshafts boots are split. I've started putting parts in my watchlist on ebay and sellers are sending me discount offers.

Those are pretty useless. No competition vehicles have run those in years.. I wouldn’t waste your money. 😉

Disregard this. Old tech. Far more harm than good. No silly boots-just dry graphite and blow them clean with compressed air after you run.
Can I have a link to the parts explosion as I have only found the parts list? Please.

I was doing this with my Kraton 6s for a while but started using silicone spray instead. Not sure why I changed.

Tracking says it'll arrive the day after I head back to work 🙄. I'll have to wait another week to see it 🙁.

I live in Western Australia, aka WA. Which is jokingly said to also mean Wait Awhile (WA), which is true as everything takes longer to get here as we are so remote compared to other states in Australia. Some ebay sellers won't even post to WA.

Dammit boy.. Sounds like my luck. 😅
