wana get a 2.4 ghz radio

i wana get a 2.4 ghz radio for my t-maxx 3.3 and i was thinking the 224 system
from tower hobbies, it's a brand new system but is it good and will it work with my t-maxx and dose any body else have suggestions
just a basic 2 channel 2.4ghz system

FYI, in future questions use the "search" feature at the top, this has been covered a couple times, I currently run a 10 memory 2.4ghz RC4WD XR4 4channel radio with rx with proportional 3 position switch for dig,lights, etc. Paid $90+shipping but its a badass radio and has AWESOME range.

Yes I believe it does. It is a great radio too, It's on my "to buy" list. Has kinda cheap build look to it (3 pos switch looks to be an after thought) but the opions that matter are the ones who own them and almost all have said they are GREAT. Plus, extra recievers are dirt cheap.

I bought this one for my son so if he breaks it who cares. It has an awesome range and works great. I would buy another in a heart beat.

And I was thinking about buying this for myself so I can run the lights on the 3rd channel.

I've heard that for a cheapy that the flysky is hard to beat, but your one of few who says the range is great. Regardless your opinion means more then mine since you actually own one. I will probably get one to keep on the shelf for when I need a radio at the last minute for something.

When we go up to the farm and bash around my son stands by the house and runs it up to the machine shed. I can't even hardly see his merv up there. Its a little over 200yds I think.

thats incredable range, also helps to be on a farm away from all that interference. Open field I get twice the range that I get in my neighborhood.
