I'm just curious where I can get a combined MPEG4 converter with a video maker, and or just a MPEG4 converter thats good and wont drain my pocketbook.

What OS are you using? Win XP and Vista needed add-on programs to read .mp4 and h.264 (.mp4) clips. A decent freeware player is Quick Time from Apple. I use AVS for suite that can edit and convert.

Has anyone here ever made a HD movie, is their a trick to using the editor to make these HD? I really wanna make this scaler movie nice and enjoyable unlike my other crappy cam corder vids...

If you search around (I'll try and find it later for you killer), there is a pre-made Windows movie maker preset for doing HD vids in 1280x720. Run it through MPEG Streamclip, then movie maker, and bam, HD video editing for free. Limited in what you can do, but free. I do all my HD vids this way as both my cams record in either MPEG or MOV format.

I've heard that vlc works well. I just use win7 and it works great with widows movie maker. Screwed around with it a good bit last night. Took a lil while to upload the 1080 movies, but the editing was great.
Kinda off topic, how are you liking your GoPro HD?

Idk if your talking to me or him, but I'm loving mine. Only gripe I have is it's a fish eye type lens only. The 10 photos in one second feature is badass.
