Castle Creations is always good. A mamba package with lower kv motor would be nice, the traxxas vxl setup is also nice.

All great setups. I would also throw in the Novak Havok speed control with a 13.5 or 17.5 Turn motor would be a good option as well.

Castle Creations Mamba Max if you want to be able to throw serious voltage to it. If not as Tom mentioned the Novak is good stuff. SNG was talking about the Traxxas VXL....think waterproof=more fun and running options. Oh yeah!
Mamba maxs are super cheap now (castle was selling them for 75 a few months ago). That will be more than enough for a sc.

You can't go overkill when it comes to esc's. Pick something up that can handle considerably more current than you are going to put in/draw out. Such as the Mamba Max. Isn't the max rated at 3s?
