I'm building an RC10SC7. I still have to cut out the body and paint it, and would like to put shorter bottom shock mounts on it than I did, but things look good so far.
Today I ran the truck for the first time and everything looks great, I used subtrim to adjust the steering a bit and the truck goes very fast on a 2C battery and 13.5T brushless motor.
But I picked up a tiny rock which jammed itself between the spur gear and the pinion gear which folded over two of the teeth on the spur gear. Spur gears are cheap, I ordered a replacement which should show up day after tomorrow.
I was wondering though if anyone makes a more durable 81 tooth spur gear or any kind of cover to prevent debris from getting caught up between the spur gear and the pinion gear?
