Either being 6s, which is more durable? Guessing the Typhon is probably more stable? Do their drivetrain's handle the 6s well? Is there comparably priced options that may be more durable? Also, any idea if their stock radio's have epa's for the servo?

in my opinion kraiton is better because instead of being a buggy it is a mix of also a monster truck but way more stable.
traxxas sledge is also a good 6s basher but rather pricey

Don't have a Kraton, but from what I've read it's more popular for hardcore bashing. I love my Typhon but I use it a street buggy. The only problem I've had with my Typhon was when I hit a light pole doing 30+ mph. Only broke an A-arm and it was a solid hit.

Kratons make me make bad decisions. They wont really be fun on 4s, but they peg the fun meter on 6s. They're so fun to send that I find myself going for monster airs whenever possible. Standard rules apply- land on the wheels and they don't break, but the learning curve on 50' airs (and bigger) is brutal. The exb is way more durable than the rtr in my experience, too.
I've found typhons actually hard to break, even when I send it. They're also a hoot on 4s.

Bought my 10 year old grandson a 3s typhoon and he is brutal on it with no mentionable damage. I have a sledge and it is unbelievable fast and strong. I just wish it would run longer than 10 min. On 2 3s 5200 mah lipos

One is a buggy, the other a monster truggy. Kraton is twice as big, including wheels, so depends on where and how you want to run... Typhon will be easier to maintain, definitely. But won't do the nasty stuff that a Kraton will, heh heh.

traxxas is better at offroad arrma is better onroad so i would go with the mini maxx
people might disagree with me but i dont like arrma cars for offroad because they break very easily. traxxas on the other hand with its monstertrucks you can give it hell and it will take it. arrma's better for onroad
