i wanted to get the info out of what I’ve done. So, if someone has some advice on what I need to do instead, please share.

I bought an rpm kraton bumper. I originally turned the punch to 9. But, I set it back to 5 based on ARRMA forum advice. It’s solid once they educated me a bit.

I turned the timing back to zero. And, I stripped the dang factory bolt tightening it down after my run. It wasn’t loose but I was putting the juice to it. Lesson learned again. There will be new quality drivers coming before the weekend.

I’m going to pull it after a few more runs. Just put a new one in it and use this mount for a back up. I already have the mount.

Anyways, I’m awaiting my tires. I probably can’t run again until next week. I’ll likely go ahead and do a chassis swap. Do a service over on the duffs while I’m at it. I like the tlr chassis.

I’ll get some pics up if my tires come.

Got the chassis swapped out for the tlr chassis. I’m not a huge ramp guy but, I’ll send one to the moon if I find a landmark that allows. So, I decided the chassis was a smart investment.

Man, if these tires don’t hurry up I’m going to get going on my revo again. lol.

Boom! It’s a looker.

Goningbto order a 14 tooth pinion and replace the motor mount and adjustment screws. The fires a lot taller.

It’s a beaut.

Looking for some suggestions on higher body mounts do my batteries don’t bulge the body. Current batteries are ovonics 5000 and zeee 5200.

Well, it never occurred to me that a seller wouldn’t advise the tires weren’t glued. I assumed they were and never checked them.

Made it 60’ from the first pull of the trigger. They all flew off and took off. Took me a while to find them all.

I got them glued up and went for a decent run. Wow this thing is fast. You can’t get it to full throttle in the area I was running this afternoon. It just leaps into the air and back flips. At 45 mph.

I’m going to run it a few more times before I do anything else. I had no indication of it running hot. 100 degrees or less the three times I checked it. But, I run it at 1/4- 1/2 throttle in the straight runs I made.

I like the way the tires handled. Might end up gearing it to a 15 tooth. Going to get sone full runs in and see if I need to tame it with a lower pinion.

Well, I run my typhon again today. It ran great. But, after getting it home and cleaning it up some, I plug some batteries in and lowered the punch to three in the name of saving juice.

Changed the setting and saved it and plugged ithe computer into the box and my esc no longer works. I can’t get back into it with the programmer. It will not respond to the set button either. No lights except on the switch. I have steering but no throttle.

I cannot get either programmer I have to sync now. The set button will not respond to try and recalibrate. I have no light on my esc. Only steering and no throttle. Any thoughts?

Did you get those from AliExpress or Amazon?
They definitely don’t glue their stuff. You have to really inspect and squeeze on those bargain deal tires. I bet they are every bit as good as the prolines they copy(or even make)
“BECOODRICH”

Actually, they are pretty dang good after gluing them. They grip nice in grass. Still slide around when you want them too. Do well in pebble gravel. Asphalt they are grippy but, still spin when you want to.

They do ballon badly. I’m not going to run heavier diff to correct it. Think I’ll get it running with a new esc. Updated one that will allow low voltage control. I bought some gensacearespammers batteries. Should help as well.

I was trying to update my esc when it just disconnected and now won’t do anything. That’s ok. I admit I was irritated but, I surely didn’t help it. So, I bought one of the newest gen esc’s from Jennie’s. And, that’ll give me time to modify the rpm bumper.

I might go ahead and put the hub extenders on it too. Trying a lower pinion. I didn’t have my gun as it was raining. But, it got hotter today. I did get to rip it better. I think I can make these electronics work. Better batteries. Etc….

Been a bit. But, I’ve got some time on this thing and blinged it out a bit.

I’ve since put some proline buggy tires on it, Got everything switched over to the tlr chassis, put some higher body mounts on it so I could run the batteries I have without bulging the body. And put some aluminum chassis braces on it.

I had it out tonight lubing the bearings and cleaning it up a bit. Thought I’d take some pics. I really like this RC.
