So I havent decided what I want to do for a permanent solution for storing my growing Radio collection but I wanted some sort of protection for both my DX8 and my 4PL when I take them places as they are both fairly expensive radios. I was on Hobbyking buying some lipos and wire and I saw one of their soft radio cases with configurable velcro foam pieces so it can fit multiple radio types for something like $13 or $14 bucks so I decided to get one and check it out and I figured even if it was complete crap I could use it until I get a more permanent solution in place. for the price its actually not a bad case at all. I have no real complaints with it yet other than I was it came with a shoulder strap. On top of the 2 velco movable foam pieces it also has a velcro strap to keep the radio more in place and the other side has a big pocket. The 2 halves are fairly hard and the only real soft parts are just the side walls where the zipper is. All in all I feel like my radio is fairly well protected in the case. heres a couple of pics if any one is interested. (oh yeah and I wish the inside wasn't orange but what can ya do?)
