Hey everyone. I bought a Nitro TC3 with a Picco XP-12 turbo engine and I went to the hobby shop and got turbo glow plugs, but I forgot which kind i am supposed to use duing the break-in. Am I supposed to use cold, hot, or medium during the break-in.

Thanks

i didnt think it mattered......ust idle it for a few tanks. But dont take my word on it, wait till one of the experts replies.

You should use the plug correct for your climate, humidity, and fuel you are using. I would recommend a cold plug for brake in. That would be a Black plug.

Rule of thumb if you mix up your plugs:

Darker color= cold because it doesn't reflect the heat.
gold to grey = medium
chrome or shiny= hot plug, reflects the heat.
