Trying to fix Team Associated SC28

[Glitch]

I had an old Team Associated SC28 somebody had stepped on and bent the rear axle. I replaced the transmitter batteries and charger up the car after replacing the axle but it won't turn on (red led indicator does not light up). I took it apart and everything seems to be connected from what can see but I don't know a whole lot. Should I get a new charger or go straight to replacing the battery?

Try rebinding.

Pretty sure there is a little hole next to the led on the truck, stick a needle in that and turn your transmitter on.

I see, I tried that and the led still doesn’t light up so now I am trying a wall charger I have laying around that fits it. Maybe the remote charging cord doesn’t work..

do you have anything to test battery? test it then you will know a vom.led even a car light bulb

Just tested it using a multimeter and it shows like .2 volts it’s meant to be 3.7. I guess I’ll be upgrading the battery to something that goes on top of the chassis that I can remove and charge

That is a good idear right there. That truck would be a good candidate for a Furitek esc

Are you going to get a 1s mini whoop pack or something along those lines?

Yeah I was looking at 450mah and a larger KV (but same size so it fits) motor. I think other people said the higher KV motor goes faster even with the same esc?

Probably, but how do you take the stock motor out ?

Open the back compartment (2 or 4 screws) motor is just in there, cut wires and solder them onto new motor- then take the gear from the old one and put it onto the new. I had to open the compartment with the motor to change the rear axle

If you want to the person who has the quicker shipping time from Amazon could receive them and then send them out, and split the total cost. Not sure why they have them in 8 packs!! Amazon Says August 26th-30th for me.
