The stock tires on my hightrail aren't bad, but I'd like a much softer/stickier pair...I'd also like some wheel weights and blacked out rims...

Suggestions?

What do you think the biggest wheel/tire combo I could fit on a hightrail?

I’m not sure this helps, but I just did one more for a trail truck, we don’t do serious crawling just running around our woods.

I went with 4.75s on 1.9s for the high trail. I went big on our trx4 bronco and it rubbed like hell, but even the 4.75s rub the bumper on the high trail at times

The high trail comes on 2.2s doesn’t it?

Tires will entirely depend on your terrain and driving style.
I'm with doom on the wheels though, I've had great luck with injora and other amazon special aluminum beadlock wheels. In fact, I've never had a problem with a metal crawler wheel at all!
For general trail use the proline tsl sx in 2.2 might be a good match for a high trail, they are about 5.25” tall.

Thanks for all the insight. This is mainly a trail truck, I'd just like to upgrade it a little here and there. My next 1/10 is going to be a true rock crawler...I just don't know what quite yet.
