Tricycle or Tail-Dragger? ... Landing Gear For Newb

A lot of it has to do with the terrain you are landing on.
I have to use tail draggers because I fly at the sand dunes and a trike would cause me to nosedive.
The sand where I fly really has a lot of ripples from the wind so big soft tires and tail draggers are a must for me.

I agree with the belly dancer above. 🤣

Any thoughts on which style of landing gear is better for shorter grass landings?
Both are good, tail draggers seem better to handle better in grassy or dirty strips. I like the Turbro Timber with its Back woods wheels, it seems to hold up better than trikes. Trikes are great for flat pavement.

Thats a great bird, I think it has a self landing option on its program. I had a buddy that had one and it was pretty fast and manoverable. Great choice. Good wheels for grassy landings.

Great choice, it's what I started with and I'm going to buy another one this spring.
Easy flying plane.
