What he meant by that is most people on this site have bought one and have had nothing but good things to say about them. The slash is quickly becoming a staple in everyone's r/c diet. It's great for any conditions, cheap, and durable as hell. There's great part support, there's a lot of club racing spec classes around for them, they can be made brushless relatively cheap, etc, etc, etc...

Nothing offensive, I seriously think if you've even had the thought of buying a slash cross your mind and have the cash to pick one up, do it. You won't regret it.

I had the same question... I took everyones advice went out bought it and havn't looked back. I even let a 5 year old drive it because I know it will hold up. Go get one!

I'm gonna be going with the venom pretty soon proly charges up to a 6s and i believe alpine has a duratrax ice so thats what he will say

the one at my hobby shop that i think the guy recomended was a prophet plus.. is that a good charger? my super brain is messing up my batterys and I've never really payed attention to the chargers as much as i have to the batteries lol

For nimh cells its a great charger. but I'm charging lipo, nimh, and nicd batteries with it. And yes i ahve the ICE and i love it. And I use the mamba maxx ESC because you can Program EVERYTHING on it. Unlike the VXL. Brake curve, throttle curve, brake ammount, drag break........ everything.

well ill proly go with the prophet plus cuz its cheap and I'm just running venom nimh packs and racers edge packs. but if i can earn enough money ill go with venom lol I'm still not old enough to get a job so yeah.

I'm only runnning nimhs in my b/l slash and its fun.but I'm just thinking for the future with a charger that will charge everything.

because I'm so sick and tired of nitro

yeah i know that once i go brushless ill need to go with a lipo battery but thats in the future -sigh-
