This all leaves me feeling so jaded towards the RC vehicle hobby. I have the Revo VXL 2.0, and it's a total beast! I really enjoy it! Nope, people who aren't me decide to basically screw me out of 500 bucks I spent buying the RTR version by discontinuing it. This will eventually make parts for it unattainable. This poop happens, and the RC hobby becomes tantamount to literally throwing your money away, based on the whim of marketing. 🤬
Unlike other rc companies Traxxas continues to support their legacy models.

No different than 1:1 cars.. just a lot fewer zeroes$$$!

Until the parts run out. Tekno keeps parts for discontinued kits.
You can still buy new parts for models Traxxas made in the 90s. 🤷

I forgot about Tekno keeping parts for old models.

But anyway I would not worry about parts disappearing for the E Revo or the Summit as long as they are still making the Revo 3.3
