Traxxas 7.4V 2S 2-Cell 12800mAh LiPo

Has anyone used these yet?7.4V 2S 2-Cell 12800mAh LiPo how long of run time will that last? An is it worth that price traxxas is selling it for?

When I bought my first lipo I went with the Traxxas 7600 2S. While I can't speak for the 12800 I will say the 7600 in my crawlers and in my T4 lasts forever. I've run 2 bashes in my T4 and gone days in my SCX without having to recharge. Had it for about 8 months and theres no puffing yet and thats with an ICE charger which doesn't balance the cells for you. While expensive I'm happy with my Traxxas battery

First thing I would do is check the dimentions on a lipo that big and make sure it fits in my kit. If it does then i would see how much it cost compared to 2.5 5000mah gensacearespammers or Sky Lipos of the same C rating. If the price is comparable to 2.5 of them then Id say yes its worth getting. if its not Id buy three 5000mAh Gens or Skys and forget about it.

The traxxas battery is way to expensive at $140 and has a pretty crappy C rating at only 25C. If you want a super high capacity battery and it will actually fit in your kit then I would look at the nano-tech 12800mah which has a much better C rating of 40c and also is half the price of the traxxas battery.

Just make double sure it will fit before ordering cause these batterys in this capacity are huge. I can tell you for a fact it will not fit in an erevo, emaxx or a summit.
