Traxxas 4-Tec electric start

My cousin has a 4-Tec and the gears in the electric start have gotten all chewed up. The gears are only $7-$8 to replace but this is the second time its happened in a month. Anyone know if I can just put a pull start on it? And if so, which one?

yes - u can put a pullstart on it - traxxas makes a conversion for the 2.5

I think its the .15 not the 2.5. Its about 4 years old.
