Transmission and motor/esc options for SCX24

There are more choices than I thought there were. These are a few that I am contemplating. There is not much room on my build for electronics (MEUS Bronco body), so I'm leaning towarda the 2-in-1 by Furitek. Thoughts?

It does seem interesting. Saves on room and I have never had a motor where the outside spins. I am trying to think of why it needs to do that

My only concern is that there is not much space inside that cage. I'm hoping that there won't be clearance issues.
