RCTalk Basher
would this truck be a good buy? I've seen reviews on this truck and they all looked pretty good. the only con i can see with this truck is the lack of a slipper clutch.

It won't be top notch, but a RTR MT for $280... you really can't complain.
The only real downsides I can see with it is that it's single speed (solid center axle I think) and aftermarket support will be non-existent, aside from the engine/clutch/wheels/tires. The second downside would be the planetary gear diffs. They aren't known for their strength, so you will have to be extra careful on your landings to be off the gas.

Isnt prolly just kind of a generic rig that a bunch of cheaper brands prolly sell? I would stay away from it personally.
a better bet would be to browse the boards and wait for a used name brand truck in good shape to pop up.
