Tough Decision….

There is a reason they they say Dr.'s are "Practicing" medicine. I've seen too much of that in the last few months myself.
I think most Dr's are good. I believe some of the best Dr's are well aware of the trend you are talking about.
Dr's sent to schools that are funded by big pharma, taught by big pharma professors using big pharma science...
I belive there is more to be gained from healthy eating and living habbits and a good chiroprator than in ANY "drug" that a Dr can give.
CBD, THC, cleaned up living and a few good vitamins 100% turned my health and my life around. Its still a battle but now I'm fighting for MY side, not the drugstore's.
I hope everyone finds their "cure" too! ❤️
Its easy to place all hope and trust in a Dr when we're sick and weak. Its not easy to find a Dr who actually listens and works with us though.
Now with the exceptional amount of profit to be made, I believe its neccesary to question diagnose' and get second opinions.
NONE of that is cheap of easy when you're already sick and down!

EXACTLY… 🍻🤘

That’s why I eat the way I do.

Wrong move man! Go buy it right now! Are you kidding me? You're going to be kicking yourself. $200 ain't chit for that bad boy. If nothing else, go pick it up and stick it on a shelf.

That’s EXACTLY what they are currently. That’s why it’s a real mind-fack for me to pass.. This one is half the current price point for a BNIB one, and it’s 100% legit.

The LAST thing I wanna do, is be “that guy” that overpays for old stuff because he won’t adapt to what’s available today, and in the future.. 😅
Fear of that happening turned me into somewhat of a hoarder with a couple of my past platforms. My mind is in a better place now. 😁 ;)

The thing is, the buggy is older and technology and materials have improved.
While I don't imagine this happening, what if the old buggy doesn't go like you remember?
For me, I would prob love it for what it is but for a racer, maybe not so much...

I understand, sometimes those nostalgia buys aren't everything we remember, just wanted to make sure that you were sure. When a good deal comes and you pass it by, you tend to kick yourself for a while. I've been on both sides of that fence.

I agree! I'm building a bunch of old stuff. I enjoy my old stuff. I'm not so happy to say that as of right now, I'd rather stick with the old stuff than venture into "new manufacturers" again to try and find a good one.
My old stuff prob isn't going to beat everyone on the track though. 😐
If this was my purchase, based on my love of nostalgia and not a strict drive to "win", I'd buy the Losi where it was THE buggy @Littlemotor loved.
HAVING to choose is the bad part of this deal!
My hang up is... the Losi is avail TODAY ONLY... lots of LC to be had in the future.

$200 is a lot... when you ain't got $200 to spare.
You've seen the $1000 stacks of tires Littlemotor just glued up right? 🤣

I don't think it's the money. He's likely having second thoughts about that left nut.
Meh, probably has another one just like it on the right...

Did ya catch the whole thread brotha? 😅

Exactly.

I agree 100%. I’d def pay the $200. It could very well be much more next time.

There’s not gonna BE a next time… I’m not saying I’m passing on THIS one alone-I’m passing on the Jammin’ all together. 😉

Fear of that happening turned me into somewhat of a hoarder with a couple of my past platforms. My mind is in a better place now. 😁 ;)

Oh I’ve been there before at LEAST once in multiple hobbies.. You’re exactly right-I’m the same way. I’m proud of myself for even THINKING about it, rather than just reacting, and jumping in the car, and heading West.. 😅

It’s a Jammin’.. they were on the Hong Nor side of OFNA, and some of the best vehicles you could get your hands on for a very long time. After the old man sold out to Horizon Hobby, I will never own another Losi again. My OG 8ight, and 8ight T were my last.

You've seen the $1000 stacks of tires Littlemotor just glued up right? 🤣

You’re probably not the only person on the forum to think that, but it’s of no relation to this dealio.. 😅

Exaaaaaactly.. As much as I loved mine-it’s 20+ year old tech/engineering, AND materials.. And the parts supply WILL dwindle to nothing eventually.. Also you’re at the mercy of others as far as the pricing for said parts goes.. Not somewhere this guy wants to be..

Also-yes; what if it’s not as awesome this go round as it COULD be…

I understand, sometimes those nostalgia buys aren't everything we remember, just wanted to make sure that you were sure. When a good deal comes and you pass it by, you tend to kick yourself for a while. I've been on both sides of that fence.

You’re a wise man brothaman. I’m sure I will.. I mean if I weren’t already there at least to a degree-this thread wouldn’t even be here.. 😅 Also a lot of times-the HARD choice is the RIGHT choice..

I would say buy it, look at it, and if you don't like it mark it up and put it back up for sale. I been guilty of doing this

Meh-I’m not that guy.. Not in this hobby to make money.. even if it’s to compensate me for my time.. While I have no problem BUYING used, I have waaaaay too much going on right now to wanna deal with the absolute dumbest people alive, by listing a “toy car” for sale on marketplace.. Especially at a higher price than I picked it up for-which a LOT of folks will notice..

Did ya catch the whole thread brotha? 😅

Yeah, so LC Racing FTW! 😎👍🏻
If the Losi doesn't do anything for you anymore, this makes the choice easier.

The prices on some of the OG only fit Kyosho parts are getting up there.
If I start breaking regularly, I might be forced to shelve these cars.
I just want to get out and run the cars I've always loved.

There was never a Losi-it was a Jammin’… 🤷🏻‍♂️😅

The “List” for 1/12-1/14 here in this thread was:

OFNA/Jammin’ CRT.5
Hobao Hyper Mini-ST
Team Associated Reflex 14B
LC Racing EMB-T Pro Kit

The only Losi vehicle(s) I mentioned, were in response to your thinking I wanted a Losi. They were only mentioned AFTER you said Losi, and to let ya know that my OG Losi 8ight, and 8ight T I did 20+ years ago would be my last due to Horizon buying them out. 😉

Yeah, I did. If I had been looking for one that long, I would have a hard time not grabbing it. But I get it. It more than likely won't be like you remember it, and comparing it to today's offerings might leave you disappointed. But man, that's a helluva deal. Especially since it comes with some extra electronics. Not to mention it's local. It's like the holy grail of RC finds for someone looking for that specific kit.

Ahhhhh, right on bigdog. I figured ya maybe tried to “Cliff’s Notes” that novel of a first post…😅

It is indeed tough AF not to go grab it, but I’m showing some major restraint for the bigger picture.. Hoping to continue making NEW memories, rather than just continuing to reheat leftovers. 🤣🍻

Believe me-I hear ya on “The Holy Grail”-the deal as a whole sure was tough NOT to chalk it up as the RC Gods shining down on a brotha.. I’m sure I’ve brought up the CRT.5 on this forum a time or two before..

We are definitely on the same page, and I appreciate ALL of the replies this thread got outta everyone. 🍻🤙
