Well, railroad tie meets Maxx. Maxx looses.

I was testing out my second gear shift with the trx.15 I veered off the pavment to hit my jump. Just as I hit the gravel it shifted to second, and kicked a little sideways. Instead of hitting the breaks and aborting, I thought I could correct. WRONG! Head on full throttle second gear.

Looks like I'm in the market for some new skids, bulkheads, and steering

Upgrades? What are those? It's been so long since a major break I just been buying more stuff... chargers, fuel, extra max lol

I hit this Tie probably 10 times I knew something was wrong when it didn't bounce back. It just made this nasty crunch sound, and didn't respond when I blipped the throttle.

Heh I had a smal gethering of neighbors watching me jump too lol figures.

Isn't that just perfect?!? Everything goes bad when others are watching you. Good bash, you broke something. All I did was melt the treads off my NTC3 today. Good reason to get some new rims and rubber.

Aint that the truth. Case in point, that news story where I got screwed on the edit. (Yes, I'm still pissed at that.) It's pretty funny when ya think about it, you can pull off the most awe inspiring jumps, crashes, whatnot when it's just you, or you and a pal or two, but toss in some spectaters and things just go horribly and unfailingly wrong.

EP worthy... I must have broken it good

The really cool thing. I think I can get stock parts to fix it for the price of a gallon 'o fuel. I think I'll end up with some used alum bulks for sure tho, maybe some spring steel skids too.

I wonder if it wpuld have broken if i'd have had my alum center skid on.

Based on what is broken and how it broke, the answer is yes. You would have still tanked it in the same fashion with your center skid in place.

Like others have said, time for some upgrades. At least while your replacing broken parts. Try to take advantage of the opportunity.

That video seemed kinda harmeless to me.. besides of course for the maxxes LOL. It looks like you guys do the same kinda bashen' we do round here. BTW what gear ratio/motors are you guys running in that vid?

Another kinda funny thing. The neighbor kid (16) just had shoulder surgery he's totally imobile. So I handed him the remote. I kinda planned on it being broken in short order.

After about 10 minutes he sticks it under a car wedged underneath the Diff. All I did was make a short run or two at the jump. Heh I really didn't think I'd be the one to break it.

OQ didn't have a problem with the video as far as the Maxx's it was the Music LOL
