Finally something Rc went my way lately.. A customer had come over today to pick up a pit bike I had to graphic up for him and I saw he had a 3.3 tmaxx in the back of his truck. He had told me he was having problems with it and "just wished he could sell it". So I asked him what he wanted for it, and he hesitated for a while and said he thought the motor was shot, so I told him for the right price Id pick it up.. So he said $25!! SOLD. I felt kinda bad so I told him Id do a tee for him too. (Hes on a stunt team for dirtbike,s 4 wheelers and such). Done deal.. The motor doesn't have much compression, and the rear skid plate is broke, but the rest looks really straight and in good shape. (just kinda dirty).. Here it is!!

Not a bad day at all..

damn , sweet deal man , me too i feel bad for the guy , but its up to him to know his stuff right, oh well new truck to the list i guess eh!

He said he paid $25 for it. So he ended up getting a free Tee out of it..

Do the Traxxas trade in on the engine and get a new one.
Welcome to the T-Maxx money pit!

I'm just fixing the rear skid, putting on the rear bumper, and dropping in a mill, and bashing it..I already learned my lesson on my 1st Tmaxx...lol

Maybe.. Its crossed my mind..lol.. Being all I have now is my buggy and this, something tells me to hang onto it for bashing, but then what I see them going for would be a great addition on the baja saving..hmm..

Mr. "I will never get another Traxxas product again after having a T-maxx". And here you are, with a T-maxx. :hehe:

lol.. I know, I know.. I couldnt pass it up though.

My last maxx was a pro .15 that I bought for $200 used. I ended up sticking over $1400 into it.. To later sell it for $300... What a waste..

Had somebody give me a Nitro Rustler. Wasn't ran very much. Plenty of compression, just needed batteries and a spur gear.
Was able to get it running pretty good. Had the .15 in it and was wanting to try to port it, but I haven't seen it since I let my kid borrow it.

Good deal bro. I'm suprised we don't run into a lot more. Everybody thinks these are toys and they should be easy to tune and work on.

Good score! I'll help you double your money on it... :)
lol.. I was already offered $150 for it in a pm..lol.. Thats allright. I'm gonna hang on to it (as of now).
