How many of you guys use vent holes in your tire and wheel combo?

i do on all of my crawlers but not on my scaler.

I drill a hole in each rim especially with a beadlock rim. If you don't you will have some bouncy tires and thats no good at all for crawling.

oh yeah bouncy and if you skwoosh one really good it wont come back.

i vent on my crawler but the scalers get no vents. i do try to dink with the air pressure in the tire compared to the ambient pressure around it.

I've got to be really, REALLY frustrated before I vent.
Usually that will happen when I run out of spray wax for my Savage. :D

I've always vented tires.

Looks like holes in the wheels are the norm which is what I do as well.

I was seeing where some guys were punching holes in the tires with a leather punch.

I have no vent holes in my Baja tires & wheels.

yeah i see not to much point in doing it on anything other than a crawler where you want the tires to form to the surface as much as possible...

I always put vent holes in my buggy, truggy and monster truck rims that were glued.

I think most 1/10th scale truck and buggy wheels come with vent holes already in them, at least all mine came that way, my crawler wheels I drilled holes in my self.

I remember having to drill holes in some rims. I believe they were ProLine Velocity because they were yellow.

I have 3 decent sized holes in each rim on my ax-10. Just make sure you dont store it on the tires.
