Hey guys, I was recently going through some sick build threads, and came across a post that was talking about a user named "rolex". In the post they said RIP, and I was confused. Went to rolex's profile, and it said "in memoriam" as one of his titles. Does this mean he passed away?

We keep his recliner in the moderator lounge freshly waxed with carnuba. ❤️

This might be obvious, but how do you tell when they have passed? I'm just wondering🤔
I'm not sure what your plan is but I use @WoodiE as my medical emergency contact. 😉
He keeps getting me approved for breast enlargement surgery but Mrs Certified won't let me get it done. 🙄

I would imagine friends or family notify someone. We also have a huge network of obituaries we comb through daily to see if any of our members have keeled over.

I do check mugshots and obituaries for people I know too. 🤣

Thanks for the information fellas 😂
In all seriousness. @Rolex was a community leader almost from the very start of RCTalk (back then we were RCNitroTalk). Many knew of him and knew him personally and for the past several years before his death - his health issues.

He was a fixture of RCTalk that was on the site nearly all day every day, and when that stopped, it didn't take long to find his obituary.

Thank you, I hope he rests in peace
