In my last post I talked about how my cars hood is now scratched up from using a bad buffing pad.

I thought of another option.
Maybe I could vinyl wrap just the hood instead of paying to repaint.

But here's the issue.

My cars paint is like a black - deep bluish color with metallic finish.

The EXT Paint code reads BT ( Ford calls it Dark Side Metallic ).

Would there be any different color wraps that would look good with this color for the hood ? Would it just look gawdy?

Here's an image of what the color of my car looks like:

I do, but that doesn't mean we can use our materials, paint and prep for free. We still have to pay costs and being a restoration shop for high end classic cars, we only use top grade paint and primers.
Don't you work at a body shop?

I meant... why you ssking us? 😆😝🤪

have a professional do a "paint correction" on it. probably still costly, but probably a lot less than a fresh paint job that'll fade differently than the rest of the car and look like hell in 7 years.
Which is literally something any “Certified Detailer” can, and does handle on a daily basis. 😉🤷🏻‍♂️
