Tire will not move but every thing else dose?

+1. There has to be a point in the driveline where something is loose or broke. Your liable to do more damage by running in front wheel drive. Most likely the front drive shaft or diff.

That dose not sound good after reading all that i don't know if i want to now but i don't know what it could be need someone that knows more about nitro then i do. Cause i am so lost right now.... I don't know were to turn.... I am going to put it together run it for a min it fwd then put it back to rwd get some video of it and post it and see what you all think cause i am lost:\

You will need to disconnect the drive line at different points and rotate things by hand. You might have a bad bearing that's putting a lot of drag on it. Could be in a diff, the trans or an axle.

I have had it all apart and moved everything by hand seams to be fine. It seams like it only dose it at high r's.

It sounds like some thing is grinding or the teeth are not making the contact they should be

Sounds like a bad diff. Hold one rear tire and spin the other. Then hold and spin the opposite tire. Should be smooth with a bit of pressure. Spin the rear tires, one at a time and make sure the opposite tire moves in the opposite direction. Should roll smooth and not have much play before the other tire starts spinning. Spin the drive shaft while holding each tire one at a time. Should feel smooth without a lot of play. If that yields nothing, take the driveshaft off of the rear diff, and spin the tranny with it. You should be able to narrow this problem down.

I think i have it down to the rear diff. Looks like it maybe time for a new one witch really sucks.

They aren't the most uncommon thing to fail. Your slipper is probably a little too tight, sending extra shock through the drivetrain. The slipper should slip, but for no more than 2 feet after you punch it. Make sure the diff is shimmed right when you reassemble it. There should be a little play in the gears, but not very much at all. An overly tight diff will get hot and fail prematurely as well. A loose one will just break the gears.

Is it OK to run something other then diff. lube in my diff.? I was thinking like white lithium grease?

That would be fine. Pack as much as you can in the cup and use a liberal amount on the ring and pinion gears.

OK i will do that i just about got it back together now there was nothing going on in it. So i dont know maybe just needs new lube and cleaned up.:\

Did you do what I said about how to locate the problem in one of the other posts? Did you take the ring gear off of the cup and look at the gears inside? Being there is 5 post on this one problem, it's hard to keep up. You should keep a single problem to a single post.
