The tie rod screw that goes into my c hub keeps popping out when i turn it, is it time for new screws or is there a bigger issue? It will just not stay in even when i screw it in, I feel no resistance.

Might have stripped the plastic. Over tightening, to much torque, or a crash perhaps?

I would use some loctite to see if you can make it last. I did that on my 2wd trx years ago when I stripped it. Being it has no feeling it may be too far gone.

Agreed probably too far gone..
When it breaks upgrade it. 👍

If i were to get new ones, would the length matter? The ones that came with the car are about 8.5mm, If i supposedely got 13mm ones, would anything change?

I doubt it. And really that’s a steering part. It will just do the same thing that goes into the knuckle so 13mm be to long you will run into binding issues

invest in a bunch of replacement spindles, all it takes is one hard wall tap to strip the plastic threads, in a pinch you can fill the gap with a sliver of toothpick, but don't rely on that for a long term repair, replace the plastic part ASAP.

So its not the screw? Its a plastic part?

Not sure what car you have, but kinda looks like a Nanda NRX-10 which has been rebranded from NitroRCX as an Exceed MadSpeed

The part in question is often referred as a spindle or hub carrier where the holes tend to wallow out where the kingpins thread into:

Same part from the OEM here:

If you have the manual for your car, note that Exceed will keep the same part number from Nanda who is the OEM.

No wonder I couldnt find this chassis anywhere, its a nanda, thanks for clearing that up for me, thanks bro

I actually used to race and rented these Exceed cars many years ago, I carried more parts than any hobby shop so I was fairly confident on what I was seeing :)

You wouldnt to still have that remote would you?

Me?

No, I've sold off all my on-road cars many years ago, I only race 1/8 off-road nowadays.

Ever since COVID I noticed that NitroRCX has been having severe re-stock issues, I think the OEM's that were making these cars have suspended operations and haven't made any announcements of when they are going to resume.

I contacted NitroRCX months ago to get a status and they left me on read :(

At this point I would probably ditch the car and go with a cheap car available from AMain to get better parts support:

Do you think it would be a good idea to get a new remote and reciever?

If it ain't broke don't fix it... there are far better quality radios out there, but do you really need those extra features?

If you decide to upgrade I would consider Radiolink RC4GS:
https://amazon.com/Radiolink-2-4GHz-Transmitter-Receiver-Controller/dp/B07DPMVVKN/

If you think you might get into club racing then I would recommend Fly Sky Noble NB4:
https://www.amazon.com/Flysky-FS-NB4-Controller-Transmitter-Receiver/dp/B08HJWQC6H

Each of these options are priced accordingly for the price/features where you get what you pay for ;)

Lmao, you could say its broken, cause its missing!
