bet that dude's hurting right now, having anything on a gun brake or blow up on you sucks, trust me,i had a gun stock blow up on me once,it sucks

Damn wonder if he even made it alive!! My dad was out shooting his shotguns with some friends and one of them was shooting his twelve guage and one of the rounds was a dud was enought to set off the primer and push the wad out but not all the way out of the barrel My dad told the guy Stop!! Dont shoot again well the guy diddnt hear him over all the shooting and shot again it split the barrel twords the end where the wad had gotten stuck luckly it wasn't in the middle. So my dad looks at it and it was around the last 8 inches where it split open so my crazy ass dad take out his hack saw and chops it off lol and they continue shooting clay piegeons. He still had that gun and had a sight at the end of the barrel put back on. I love shooting that thing it kicks like a freaking mule but its actually very accurate.

Ummm be careful with that thing....if the....UMMMM "right" people find it shorter than the law allows you are in DEEP DOO DOO.......I had a makarov 9mm go bad on me once...the round actuall got stuck cause the barrel was heated and bent.....the flash came back through the chamber and I got a real bad burn on my index finger...the muzzle flash I also found out has VERY toxic gases and the residue on the surface after the skin blistered and broke actually made me very sick......yeah guns....actually I have a few myself and enjoy shooting......never did skeet or trap stuff but I'd love to try..

Man... that sux.

My brother messed up my dad's double barrol 16g by getting mud in the barrol, then shooting it. Now it's a brush gun. My dad cut off about 14 inches and now it's 1 inch over legal hunting usage. The pattern really sucks though.

Watch the sawed off, or we'll be hearing of another Randy Weaver.

Ahh the Makarov, several friends had them, they all had problems.

Looks like something was stuck in the barrel in that pic, still not a good day when that happens.

mine was great...still is....the gunsmith fixed it and now my brother has it....I seriously fired about 10,000 rounds through it before that happened...I used to get real good deals on bulk ammo.....czech stuff though......just before it happened I fired about 400 rounds that day.....I took a break and the first round jammed in the barrel.....now I have some S&W 9mm a bro / sis pair.....much nicer.....damn I need to go to the range tomorrow @ lunch.....

I love going skeet shooting. My parents own 3 shotguns, all semi auto. One of which is mine! We try to go to the skeet range about once a month. We have never been to a rifle, pistol shooting range, although i have shot some in the woods. Need to get out the handguns and rifles and clean them and talk my parents into takin me out to shoot! I bought like 500 rounds per gun we have... preparing for an invasion!

yeah my folks are just a lil fanatical about their collection.....LOL......I feel for anyone trying to break in their house......

My dad is very anal about his collection. Nothing real fancy, but he has guns for when my brothers bring someone around and they want to go hunting. A lot of his guns are over 20 years old and still function like new. I helped him re-blue and re-stock a few of them.

I leave mine there because I don't have anywhere to store them.

Beings he lives in IA and you can't used high powered rifles for much, he just has a lot of shotguns and 22's.
1 12G pump,
2 12G semi auto's,
2 4-10's,
2 over/under .22/4-10's,
1 20G pump,
1 16G pump
1 16G bolt action
1 16G semi auto,
4 semi auto 22's,
1 pump 22,
2 single shot 22's,
3 bolt action 22's with clip,
1 single shot 16G
1 single shot 12G,
1 32/20,
1 double 16 sawed off (fore mentioned)
1 22 military issued semi auto bull baroll

I loved my 22... shoot all day and spend $10 :)

Funny you mention the Czech ammo. I bought a case of .22LR that were Russian. They were a Pain in the Rears to load in the mag cause they were all greasy, but they were great for squirrel hunting, they were like subsonics. I've had farts louder than those things were. My Dad used to be in R&D for the Chicago Police Dept and he was part of the firearms testing commitee. They'd shoot guns in testing just to see how much they would take before they wouldn't function properly. He was able to go to a few different armour schools for it too. I like my guns but prefer archery, you can reuse the ammo!

What the hell is at the end of that gun??? Havnt seen poop like that before..

Maybe it's a homemade silencer and he forgot to bore out the end of it so the bullet could go through.

Anyone else this the pic is fake? It looks so staged. Empty rounds sitting there. Still up on the tripod. No blood. Seems like someone made a barrel to look like it exploded.

What is at the end of that gun barrel is a muzzle brake or flash suppressor. It hides the flame comming out of the end of the gun for night shooting, or controling recoil on high power rifles.

What the hell was he shooting out of that thing?! Was he shooting reloads? That looks painful... I hope the dude is ok.

Tom

You know BigFreak,

That does look a bit fishy now that I take a second look. The barrel looks way to symetrical to have blown up for real... usually when a barrel explodes the energy is disipated out of one specific area. Besides... that muzzel break should have gone flying..

Tom

Well, if it isn't staged, he's lucky it's a bolt action. A semi auto would have been more likely to have blown up in his face instead of at the end of his arm.

He measured it and it is exactly the legal lenth, A friend of mine has a 12 guage doulble barrel that is way to short the barrel and the stock have been cut down, hes crazy lol. The worst injury I have recieved from a gun was from my dad,s 308 brush gun, its very light and I got a little to close to the scope boom next thing I know I've got blood running down my face sun of a! man that hurt lol

LOL i know what you mean man my dad has a freaking arsonal in his house. I dont even know how many guns he has anymore, he does alot of hunting his house looks like wild kingdom Deer and Elk/antelope mounts everywhere. I only have one gun I keep at home its sweet, its a 20 guage single shot double barrel under and over with break action the cool part about it is that the upper barrel is a 22 rifle! I've had it for a very long time it has a silver finsih with ingravings in it. My bro has one also just not as fancy as mine. I'm guessing they are worth quite a bit I've never seen another one in my life.

That cool I've never heard of another one. Mine also is very nice looks brand new! Its very old not sure when it was made but its old.
