Found this with my RC stuff from 2 decades ago. I have all the parts somehow to build it. I can’t believe what it’s going for!

they're hard to find complete. people used to use the blowers and "bug catchers" off of them. Parma is under new ownership and things are going back into production, so it has potential to make a comeback. i remember the hemi couple the engine came with. used to want one.

Items like these are worth exactly what the owner thinks or what the buyer is willing to pay.
You might read the description of the other and figure yours, new in package, is worth a cool $300! Maybe it has a rare option that makes it worth more.
Vintage stuff is very like that! Especially if you don't NEED to sell it! Hold out for the $$$!!!
There IS a person who will buy it for that too... Happy hunting!!!
If you find them, let me know! I have some vintage Imex Clodbuster tires and wheels... GOTTA be worth a few hundered!!! 🤣

idk, i think Imex is still in business. pretty sure you can get the baja tires new still. think you can get the chevron tread pulling tires as well.
its the old Proline... can't remember the name. something trac. iv seen those go for over $300 for a set

I was gonna part it out for my MK2 to make it more scale. Having second thoughts now lol
Your $$$ is in the complete assembly. 😎
When I have things like that, they stay together.
If you're looking to dress up kit that you're still using, i'd urge you to stick with readily availible parts. Keep the vintage motor on the shelf or maybe even build an old Clod for yourself???
I know where there are some NICE tires and wheels!!! 😎

I did see some Imex for sale on thebay.
Mine are WAY cooler! 🤣🤣🤣

There was a tricked out Clod Chassis on there for $2900...
Just something to think about.
This motor kit you have is worth $$$ and will be even more so with time
BUT if this gets re-released... it might loose value too.

On tag:
No 7627 SPIKE CLOD BUSTER (4) tires no rims
2 in bag
2 unbagged but match

No 8660 DUAL WHEEL KIT CLOD BUSTER (2) in bag
4 tires and 2 rims/kit

unsure of # but 2nd pair of dual wheel kit, pin type tires.
same 4 tires on 2 rims
Set of 4 Chvron type. Appear to be stock Tamiya. From 30 years ago.
Some of that wasn't easily found on thebay.
Maybe Its cool to me because these tires are bigger than the tires on my Focus and I just love that they are R/C ANYTHING!!!

Heck, I might buy your motor!!! 🤣🤣🤣

those the ones that look like rear Hornet tires? i haven't seen a set of those in probably 25 years!

They haven't seen sunlight in that long! 🤣

I think you struck gold. also I want one of those parma rc's, but too expensive
When I was a kid I had progressed through a few Tamiya cars. I had the Blackfoot.
I saw and wanted a ClodBuster bur they were STUPID expensive.
Everything needed to be 2X, meaning 2 motor...
They have always been a pricy kit for some reason.
Sure, cool but not THAT rare that the prices never dropped. 🤣

The other thing thats just awesome about this motor is simply that its a 1/10 scale HEMI!!! Like EVERY hot rodder's dream motor etc...
its a bad @ss kit for ANY kit!

The chrome has turned yellow over time. Even though its been stored in the dark for nearly 20 years. It has some cool extra parts like duel carbs. 3 belt options. One with black wide rubber band. I’ll probably end up putting it together and put on a shelf to collect dust the next 20 years. Lol

if you ever build it and want good chrome and you have an air brush. get a Maloto mirror chrome pen refill. strip the yellowed chrome off the plastic (oven cleaner should make easy work of it) and shoot the chrome on. it's a little difficult to avoid overspray and it'll take like a week to dry but it looks great.

I was thinking of using Spazstix chrome paint in reverse order with a clear coat on top. I checked out a video on that pen. Looked like more silver than chrome. But hard to tell on a screen
