I would need a longer piggy but that's actually a funny idea tho. I could always cut it in half and lengthen it lol.

But to the next project, I'll be using another HPI chassis, well two different ones to make one complete chassis. But it's going to be a fraction of the weight my savages are

I think that baby is going to need something to keep the front down, Knowing you, you have some sort of front spoiler made up, can't wait to see it.

I have two 1/4" thick steel plates that will be mounted upfront and I haven't quite decide on the front wing yet. I have an idea tho.

This truck started as a firestorm but I dropped in the blitz chassis for length and so the battery would fit. There's still more to come

Put on some XO-1 shocks front and rear to stiffen everything up. I also put the blitz rear under brace on to help protect the motor somewhat lol.

Ran it today with great success. Figured out real quick that full throttle is instant death but nothing broke and I kept testing. A front wing is a must for sure. I managed mid 90's with a high of 98.9mph. Hoping to pass 100 but this thing needs some adjustments to tighten up everything lol. But at half throttle its very impressive. I can't wait to hit full throttle cause I'm hoping to smash on some rustys

1st pull and managed to hit full throttle and instant death

3rd pull and so close to 100mph

Intense. I think I'd run without a lid, go with a slow start and add just enough down wing on the front to keep it down without creating drag.
A delicate balance for sure.

For sure its aa delicate balance as you saw with the first vid lol. I can't stab it to full throttle. I think with more weight further upfront and a smaller diameter wheel I should be able to get 3/4 throttle lol
