I run that servo in my sledge and a few other cars. Surprisingly fast and torquey. That’s been my go to servo for a couple years now.

I've always had great luck with amazon servo's.
I had a expensive Savox die on me. Go figure.
I've got the DS3235 in most of my rigs. I've never had one fail.

Picked up a rebuild kit for the Velinion system in my Project Octopede.

I’ve gotten one that wouldn’t return to center reliably, but that was one out of many. Probably just a fluke… Definitely the best budget servo for the money and it won’t scare me away from buying more. 😂

I got a DS35MG from 9i mod with the full metal case in my kaiju. Hoping that holds up as well as the blue case Amazon ones do.

I tried a DS3225MG once but it was shite. Slow and noisy.

The missing piece of the XXX-SCT puzzle has been found. I still need to order a screw kit from Tony's and I need some SAE drivers before I can begin the tear down.

Said engine moder, what services is offered? Is this like a port a polish or?
Zero. We have a deal that he stays anonymous. He is a world record holder in onroad, and arguably one of-if not THE best in the country in off-road.. I also cannot mention any names of those he does work for on a consistent basis for obvious reasons.. He is not at all interested in taking on more customers at this time, and likely will not be in the future either. I’m just lucky. 😉

However-for the sake of answering your question while adhering to his, and my agreement; I got a buggy mod, and truggy mod. some parts I cannot discuss, as well as the usual crank, and sleeve timing changes, cranks bored, back drilled, filled, weighted, blended, etc., crank cases ported/blended, head buttons modified, pistons drilled, as well as lightened, cleaned inspected, ceramic bearings installed, documented, etc..

While they look like some fancy schmancy nitro jewelry/artwork-most folks are “sold” on the “pretty fangs” on the sleeve, and blending of the scoops on the crank face. While they absolutely do not HURT-the real power is made, or moved around throughout the RPM range with timing numbers, and elsewhere that cannot be seen with the naked eye, or without a gauge, wheel, and math..

BOTH engines I had worked will be far more motor that either of the vehicles they’re destined for can handle/put to the ground.

I’ve delt with the best engine guys in the world for many years whether 1:1 racecar shiit, or RC-and this guy is as good as they come. Far more than my garbage deserves. I’ll for sure be updating some particular build threads when they get here with what “I CAN show”… 🤩😈

Sounds like buying a telser from musk. 😆

Not a new customer if i pay and have you do it. 🤣 Back in the day i did fangs and polishing and what not on a few trx pro. 15. Woke tgat little mill up.

I had an engine guy mod a motorized bicycle motor years ago. I witnessed him gouge his wife's granite counter when it slipped. 😶‍🌫️🤣

You FELT like it did.. I can assure you-it did nothing. You’re creating more volume to the inside of that engine with every speck of material you remove. If you’re not changing crank, or sleeve timing, you are not offsetting the amount of volume you’re adding to the inside of the engine.. it’s a balancing act. you also aren’t looking for polished anything really in a nitro glow two-smoke engine.. Unless it’s to keep windage down in that area specifically.. More often that not-you want to avoid the risk of fuel being allowed to puddle, or not remain as atomized as possible. Polishing allows that to happen.

The gains made by modifying are achieved from making a LOT of ver specific changes, and they add up. I can absolutely promise you that fangs, and polishing absolutely cannot be felt from the transmitter, or seen in a lap time, nor radar gun, as they do literally zero for the performance of the engine. 😅
