Yeah, sorry that happened but don't let it sour you too much.
I think mostly, ppl recognize when something nice comes their way. I try to make sure to say so when I get lucky! Even better when I can pay it forward!
Maybe some folks expect things? I can't say. I try not to let other ppl's expectations affect my actions too much these days.
Its better to be a good person than to let other ppl become a problem imo.
