Too bad I couldn't find any 2.1 sheets ;) 🥳

Should the mods go ahead and move this to the classifieds now? 🤷🏻‍♂️🤣
You'd take the Christmas cheer right out of the grand-kid's stocking, eh? :stick:

:hehe:

A handful of orders showed up today-reckon it’s time for some “Show & Tell” then.. 🤷🏻‍♂️😅

They decided to toss me another half a bag worth of miscellaneous bearing tubes in the box too… I think I’m covered for life on these.. Next time I send a fellow RCT member anything-guess what else they’re gonna get a fat handful of….🤣

Bought fancy steering posts (they fit vintage Ultima but I should be able to make them go).
I'm gonna fit them in the aluminum chassis with the ball steering set from Factory Works before everything gets swapped onto a carbon fiber chassis. 😁

Well, I got some of the install done.
Turns out(see what I did there?🤣) I only used about 1/4 of the parts I ordered to get this set up installed.
I used a Lazer ball bearing ackerman plate becasue Factory Works only uses bearings on the posts. I thought that was odd.
I had to modify it to fit in the Mid and still clear the front diff housing.
I still need a pair of shorter turnbuckles. The ones I ordered 2 months ago still haven't arrived. 🙄
I also still need to trim the rack for fit and clearance.

I didn't use the Trinity steering posts at all. It used to bother me when I would buy parts like this. I used to have a bunch of stuff for cars I didn't own. ☹️

So I bought an Ultima for overflow parts. 😁

Summer is slowing down now. While my to-do list is still long, I really hope to devote some time to getting this car wrapped up. 🤞

I would say hit up Acer Racing as their Titanium units carry a lifetime free replacement warranty, and I’ve never come across stronger-but you’d have to replace all of them, on account they wouldn’t match what you have.. They do sell them by size, and in pairs though-and the price is the best I’ve seen for what you get. 😉 Looking good man! 🤘
