Don't worry though, we all overcome our fears sometime.) and as you can see i'm a cocky little punk too. Don't worry, I mean well. Some of you might know dougc. I'm his nieghbor. Welcome to RCNT Vince. You are half right the Maxx is a good truck however the savage is much better out of the box homie and that's just the way it is. The Maxx is great once you get rid of most of the stock traxxas crap. It's cool we are cocky too as you can see. Later man

WHaddup Vince...welcome to the forum. Their seems to be allot of great people here. I'm a smart ass myself but you've gotta be a smart guy to be a smart ASS....eh. I have an engineering degree but you don't have to be an Engineer to realize that the stock Maxx parts are weak as hell. Like I've said before, the beauty of the T-maxx is in it's design but the vast majority of stock parts lack serious integrity. You have to spend some serious bucks (like I have now) to make the T-maxx a true hardcore machine. THis is FACT not hearsay. The Savage is allot tougher out of the box but the steering/turning radious on the Savage sucks. Once you beef up the Maxx with lots of moola it's superior to the Svage in many ways. I don't own a Savage YET but I drive my buddies on almost a weekly basis.

got_Nitro - A quart in three week huh...no dis but lol. I went through almost a gallon in my Maxx in the first two weeks. I'm an excellent driver and I bent the hell out of tons of poop before I every had an actuall wreck. You obviously don't take your truck to the limits or anywhere near their or you'd know that the Maxx has a PLEHTORA of weak links. No worries though....if your having fun the more power to ya.
