They havent officially announced it yet, but it looks like Losi is bailing on the strike. Price on the BnD dropped to 119.99, and the RTR is now 149.99.

Heres the links straight to Losi's site to see for yourselves.

Maybe they will build a "real" truck based on the XXX-T. That would actually sell. The only thing I like about the Strike was the BND option, very nice for Spektrum users. Oh, and the mid-motor thing is cool, but the rest of the truck didn't work well enough to see if it made a difference.

The fact that it was illegal according to ROAR rules I'm sure didn't help their cause.

No great loss if they do-it was a rush job to try to capture a piece of the action in the only segment of the R/C market that was showing any growth in depressed economic times.I had one and the problems/breakdowns(not due to flogging it to death)made it not worth keeping-a real shame because their Desert Truck on brushless is a sweet vehicle.I will have to look long and hard before I buy another Losi vehicle.Don't get me wrong-I like their Xcelorin motors and run a couple, one in my Blitz and one in my Slash(both 4800kv)

I hope they do build something a bit better..after seeing my buddy dads fall apart, bad shocks, and the list goes on..the only thing i did like was the tires. and the mid motor thing as well..How come it was Illegal by roar rules?

According to ROAR it's wheelbase is too long.

I did not know that.. we will still let them run with us here @ our track:thumbup1:There is a couple people that have them so we are not going to deny them racing cause of that..;)

Strike still very much current & for sale... even though everywhere ppl are trying to start rumours of its demise. :)

It sucks, I have always been a Team Losi guy, it was my first "real" RC car, and I still have a xxxt-mf1. I wanted the strike real bad, until I did some research on it, I ended up with an ASC SC-10 And it is VERY weird for me to own anything ASC. But, I like it, alot. haha.

Did anuone follw the performance setup sheet (Involves remounting suspension, adding aluminium brace and replacing with a lower speed pinion)?

BTW I have and mine is awsome. Although have only had for about a month.
