so I'm not far from home. I'm making a right turn. to my left a white Harley turns left. then proceeds to stand it up on the back wheel. you've heard of 12 o'clock? this dude was a quarter after.
amused i turn right. go down and cut through a neighborhood to the next street. that street runs diagonally. as I'm waiting to make a right on to the diagonal street, white Harley goes by on the back wheel.
amused i give chase as i dig my phone out of my lunchbox. as i tap on the camera a damn crossover i had to wait for caught up to him and was tailgating him so he set it down and took off. i then had to make a left to get home. i could hear him for another 10 minutes ridding around knowing he was doing wheelies.
so i missed an epic pic opportunity do to a damn crossover. didn't see the driver of the crossover, but it is a crossover so I'm assuming it was a 60+ year old women who was pissed at the guy. fricken Karen.

I admit it, I'm still pissed off. So, where do I access my VPN?
Any help would be very welcome.
for me i do it using my anti virus program (McAfee). open that up and there's a box called "secure VPN" open that and i can turn VPN on or off and change the location.

Sunday night into Monday, I woke up at 1:30am. Awake in bed until 3:30am. Work alarm went off at 4:15am 😒
Last night was one of those rare nights I slept completely through the nights. For the past 2 years, sleeping completely through the night has been a rarity. Fortunately, most of the time, I do fall quickly back to sleep upon waking up, for no reasons. I guess it's just one of those getting old thing.
I've had chronic insomnia since the early 80s. I woke up at 8:30am Saturday having only slept about 90 minutes and didn't fall asleep again until this morning at 1:30am.

My insomnia hasn't been this bad in over a decade. My record is about three days.

Put some bushes in a blanket and light it up. Always worked for me. Can't afford it now and I'm having a hard time going to sleep.

It only works for me sometimes lately. I've been sleeping and waking at weird hours, not feeling rested when I wake.
Toss and turn all night and in pain.
It doesn't happen all the time but broken sleep cycles suck!

Sleep has never really been a problem for me until the last few years. Aches, pains, stress, etc.
Now we have the new dimension I mentioned earlier. He made it through the night but he was still up at 5am...that's before our earliest alarm we have set in the house 😞
I am going to guess he just couldn't do it anymore; he was asleep by 6:00 yesterday. He refused to nap at school (insomnia at that point) and then was a basket case when he got home.
He was screaming for my Mom, it's a good thing she was home so I could walk him across the street. They fed him dinner and when I went back after half an hour it was like a new human.

Parenting at the high level my wife and I want to operate at is difficult and exhausting.

I am going to guess in these moments as a child I would have been beat and or screamed at into compliance. Rising above is constant work.

At least you aren't running to the dr looking for a 'mute button' pill to 'fix' your kid!!!

Stay strong, build distractions like a crawler course in your back yard...

It will get better. 😎 ;)

Oh for sure! His Montessori teacher praises him and us for his abilities (emotional regulation, etc) and we actively work together through things that come up.
He's just finding his voice and is now 3 going on 17; "No! I wanna watch XYZ" "NO I want fruit snack! FRuit SNACK!" "I don't wanna sit on MY SeAt!"

Stuff like that.

When you're running on no sleep though it is sooo hard to regulate yourself, bele dat.

There's a lot more then a "mute pill" specialists can do.

My son has been in a sleep study for a while now. Turns out a number of things are happening. One is apnea. It's also how we got to the lyme diagnosis. Ignoring problems and thinking it's easily handled by yourself is nieve.

It is important to seek help if you find there is a problem, for sure.

Just keep in mind, when he is 17, you'll miss these days. I know I do.

Absolutely! I know the days of him wanting to copy cat me or demand I sit on the couch to watch his cartoons won't last for ever.

I am hoping by introducing him to power sports and RC we can be friends for a long, long time.

I take care of myself. I deal with my issues mostly naturally.
I see a dr when I need to.
I do not believe that seeing a dr or taking pills can cure much of anything other than acute injuries...
I was on the pill mill for decades. I am prepared to die of whatever may come. I am not EVER going back to Phizzer. Naive or not, been there, done that.

Get that apnea treated! I have thst real bad. My dreams torment me and make me jump up at the most intense parts sweating. Also been 15 or so times atleast in the last year I woke up. If I didnt wake when I did I would have died. It feels like tge heart was beating once or twice a minute and it took me 5 to 10 minutes after waking up to feel alive again.

Alternative means to wrapping bushes 😅
LOL, I also can't because I have a conceal carry permit, the ATF wouldn't approve.

I do take a prescription sleep aid, but it doesn't always help.

I went to bed at about 1:00am this morning, and didn't fall asleep until around 4:00am. At 8:30am someone called then hung up after two rings so I'm up.
