Not really a rant, but I had a first last night. I was permanently banned from subreddit. My very first ban online. I don't really care at all as I wasn't even a member or joined to that sub. It had just came up on my feed and I recognised a photo. I was letting them know that the photo was posted on multiple subs but the mod didn't like that. 🤷‍♂️ no loss to me.
I don't even understand Reddit enough to use it. If it comes up in a Google search I will browse for the info I am looking for, but that's about it. But just reading through some of the posts while searching for stuff turns me off from joining in any discussions.

I've never tried it but never wanted to because we have a user or two here that post's from Reddit and I can tell it isn't for me.
Isn't that the sound of a frog? Reddit. Reddit. Maybe you got likewise frogs in there? 🤣

I'm on Reddit but I really don't post on there anymore. I just help people which half the time majority of the people don't agree with me. (Same with stupid Facebook)

I only mainly post in a smaller subreddit and their mods and people are great. Nice helpful. It's r/traxxasv2
Even though the name is Traxxas they accept anyone with any rc. They even have a discord server which I'm also in.
But here on RCT is my home 😊

Well, he is Australian. They all started as criminals. Apparently, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

That makes more sense, I always thought a penal colony was a ......uh nevermind. 🤔

That statement pretty much sums up reddit. 🤷‍♂️😆

But It all depends which subreddit/community your on. Completely different groups of people and mods on each, so different personalities.

People can be assholes online. People just have to disagree with everything you say or pick holes in it. I've joined some communities (r/steak) with great excitement, to then bail out quickly. Disappointed.

With exception to this forum of course. Lots of ❤️ here.

Highly allergic to seafood, and the neighbors insists on grilling seafood every other day directly underneath my bedroom window where the a/c is. I'm all for bbq, but at least move your grill away from the window.

Indecent exposure charge. With his lack hell get within a school charge. 🤣🤣
Is there a law that says you can't empty your cat's litter box out your bedroom window? 🤔

In North Carolina-there’s a state law against that… If you’re in an apartment… And they will enforce it for sure if they’re made aware of the grill so close to the building.. It is like 100ft minimum here..

Damn, not sure if there's a law about that here in Maine, but I can definitely see why being a fire hazard and stuff.

How far is the grill away from your building?

It's directly underneath the overhang from my apartment window. Kinda hard to tell because the shingles are exactly the same color as the pavement lmao. But underneath the overhang is the neighbor's porch. I should probably go over and tell him about it being unsafe, but I don't wanna start any trouble. People can be unpredictable nowadays.

EDIT: did some "digging" on grilling laws around here. I guess there's no "official" laws but there's definitely safety stuff that should be followed. "• Grills must be 10-feet from the side of a building unless the manufacturer's instructions say it can be closer"

Read your lease and contact your landlord. Most apartments have things in the lease saying you can't use a grill within so many feet of a building. Regardless, your landlord would probably want to put a stop to it.
