My boss is a narcissist who has anger issues and other explodes and sometimes treats us like crap and we have a group of employees who seem to be in Stockholm syndrome. Its hard for him to keep new employees so the ones he has who sticks around for years he does whatever he can to keep them and I'm not saying that to be a jerk neither
I have had a few bosses like that. As soon as I realized that screaming at employees was a common theme, I walked out. I don't tolerate that crap because I would end up knocking the guy out. Being a machinist then, I never had to worry about finding another job anyway, so no sense in putting up with an adult that acted like a spolied toddler. I actually had one boss that started in on me for being 5 minutes late due to a very heavy snow storm and I backed him up when I got in his face and told him to stfu. I thought he was going to piss himself 🤣

I had one once. Post retirement "fun" job selling power sports toys. Top dog salesman and the only one with repeat customers in a little over a year. Multi franchise corp. with a (30 something used car salesman) general manager that was the largest douche I've ever met bought the place.
I was gone in 3 months solely due to said douche.

I decided yesterday that I wanted a little 'pond prowler' for fishing our pond and some of the small local lakes. Nothing fancy, just a little 10ft boat that would let the wife and I get out on the water together. I already have a trolling motor setup with spot lock so It won't cost much , about the same as an Xmaxx. That's how I gauge expenses for toys, how many Xmaxx's does it cost? It's not till I hit the 3 or 4 Xnaxx range that the wife gets involved so the boat, all good.

Considering it's size, it would have probably fit in the bed of my truck but I wanted to play it safe so I hook up to my single axle 12ft trailer and off to BassPro I go. 4 or 5 miles down the highway and I notice one of my trailer tires are low. Odd since I just checked pressures before I left. I'm a mile from a rest stop so I continue on. Pull into the rest area and it's now all but flat, and I find a big nail in my sidewall. Dang it, tires are 2 months old. Just put them on along with replacing the spare. The spare that I loaned my neighbor last weekend when he had a flat. Same neighbor that is out of town for the weekend and left without first returning my spare..... hmph.

By the time I finished dealing with that mess I was so irritated by the 'missing' spare that I just went and played RC the rest of the day. I've all but abandoned the idea of getting a boat too 😅

Running a few packs through these made me feel a lot better. Or maybe it was the margaritas ....

Years ago my mother bought an actual Zodiac with a 40hp. motor. I could put the whole rig in the back seat and trunk of my Z-24. After she sold it I was not in a position to buy even that motor but still wanted to get out on the water. I found a trolling motor and bought a small inflatable raft with a built in keel. I was unsure at first but after a few outings was taking it everywhere. We even took that little motorized raft up the Hudson river and the first two locks of the Erie canal.

We had old neighbors next door. They were renters. Smoked it inside windows closed up. It seeped through our upstairs bathroom and kitchen. They moved out like 2 yrs ago there's new people there. They smoke but hey atleast they do it outside. Also it's super loud as the owner teared up all the carpet and it's just hardwood in that house now. Even more louder bc they have a wall staircase while we have a center staircase
