Oooh you just widen the slot in the outdrives so they're parallel again? I'd never even thought of that. I have a bunch of outdrives that I thought were just trash.
Now that I've taken out the o-rings, I just smooth out the harshest spots so that driveshaft pins won't 'grab' the same area. That's my hope anyway.

@RustyUs any idea if this body fits the 410SL?

Says it's for slash and the stock slash body fits pretty good already.
This body, Pro-Line 1967 Ford F-100, has specs of...

Fits:
  • Slash® 2wd (with Extended Body Mount kit PRO6070-00 sold separately)
  • Slash® 4x4 (with Extended Body Mount Kit PRO6087-00 sold separately)
  • Pro-Line PRO-Fusion SC 4x4 (with Extended Body Mount kit PRO6070-00 sold separately)
It's the "with extended body mounts" has me guessing the body lines are a bit different than a typical SCT body. I mean, the body I run (JConcepts Illusion Ford Raptor SVT) is said to fit Slash, Slash 4x4, SC10, Blitz, Ultima SC, Losi XXX-SCT and Hobao | OFNA Hyper SC trucks. With that Raptor body, I run my SCT410SL body mounts as low as the will go in the rear and one notch up on the front.

A person has some wiggle room with the stock body mounts. If needing some longer posts... Dr.Emel can help get things done I would think.

Body Mount Width

@RetroThutmose, it's 115mm (center to center) between the SCT410SL body posts... front & rear. The workable area on the rear of that Pro-Line 1967 Ford F-100 body is not known to me. That's my only real concern for fitment on a SL at this time. Maybe find someone with a Slash/Slash 4x4 to ask what the distance between the body mounts are.

Edit: Actually, I think I know the answer to how far apart the body mounts are on a Slash... 110mm for the rears and 115mm for the fronts.

Wish the bumper provided more protection to the body. Don't crash I guess 😏

Had a good time racing last night. I'm still off the fast pace and wasn't very consistent. But, had a ton of fun. As predicted, this body won't last more than a few race days due to the complete lack of protection. Front corners are already cracked. I tried one of the high grip setups from tekno's website and it seemed to work really well. I had tons of grip. Too much grip! I was traction rolling and doing endos from braking to hard. I didn't want to turn down my steering because it was a technical track with a lot of sharp corners. Had a blast as usual, such a fun truck. I raced this and 21.5 rwd buggy and the two classes couldn't be more different 😆

New release incoming?
