....Wtf. Okay, I got that kickass game need for speed underground right? It loads up a bit, then it does that. I kno ddhelp is the directx...thing.. And I'm running 9, and thats the latest version out. I dont kno what the heck is wrong and I want to play my game!~ Techys help me

did you ever have this problem before the installation of the game? First off, you know the game is casuning the probelm, you have already installed the newest version of direct X (9.0b right?) (type "dxdiag" under start/run to check. the next thing you should do is go to the manufacture of your graphics card and download the latest driver for it as wel. try that and see if it fixes the problem.

Okay, i have geforce 2 rite? So I went to the site to DL, but when I try to ope n it it says it isnt a vaild win32 prog..

did you get the driver off of nVidia.com? Their driver will work with any nVidia chiped card. If you have some exotic card (like the old asus 7700 deluxe w/ shutter glasses) you might need the OEM driver. But if it's just a GF2 card the nvidia driver will probably work.

You might try reinstalling DX too, if the driver doen't fix it.

I feel your pain bro, seems like the Mac version of Medal of Honor is not stable and crashes often.

Is your system running ok besides the problem with the one game?

Yeah, runnin as strong as a race horse. Funny thing though, directx isnt showing up in the prog list, I can't uninstall that. I could manually uninstall, probably will

dx is embeded like a mofo, some peep wrote a remover for dx8.. but i havent had any issues with dx9/gerforce/tnt2/9700pro/8500/gf2 and 3s


check audio drivers too.. make sure they up to par...
