i wish they would bring back those 5 spoke buggy wheels. they were cool looking. they always reminded me of the Skyway mags for BMX bikes

I certainly had a mishmash of wheels and tires during my time with the RC10 Team Car. Those composite Skyway wheels were my favorite! In the picture I posted, I think the front were HPI 5 Star wheels, and rear wheels were Kyosho (sticker on wheel... I'm a sticker freak).

What the...?

Do people actually use the z-bend rods when they buy these re-re things? I never used them on the Team Associated buggy back in the day. The only time I uses a z-bend rod was on my Tamiya Frog and didn't know any better.

iv never seen anyone use it anywhere but pan cars. and the last time i remember seeing it used was in the 90's.

they re-pop them now. i have a set on a 94 Dyno VFR.
and you can get them in 7 spoke 24" verity as well. kicking around getting a set for my SE So Cal Flyer.

I have sent HPI a few emails requesting they bring back the Super Stars for the RC10's. I have a B4 I have been searching for some for. Been a 2 year search so far.
